Tom asks what is wrong with Walter. Eli gives him a short update and says Walter needs to get to the hospital right away. While they speak, Maya and Eli keep working on Walter.
Tom begins to apologize and explain himself, but he does not go on at length. The crew does not stop treatment to talk about the road argument. After the care they have given him, Walter is stable enough to be moved.
Tom helps only when the crew asks him to move or make space. Otherwise, he stays quiet and watches them work. The delay on the road cannot be taken back now.
