Ayla and Tarek guide Elif and Murat back to the cave. The couple thanks them and says goodbye. Ayla sees that they have to leave, but she asks them to remember the builders.
Elif and Murat go into the cave together. The air inside feels different from before, and they move along the narrow passage they had first explored.
At the end, they come out into the modern world near Gobeklitepe. Their phones work again, and the normal sounds of their time return. Then they know for sure that they are back in their own time.
Elif and Murat talk about what they learned about the builders. They understand that the real secret of the site was human cooperation and many years of work. When they leave, they are determined to protect the history they have seen.
